I had to suffer being turned down by my wife (then girlfriend) so went out with someone else.
Sarah was stunned I'd got with someone so quick, she was (apparently) mulling it over as she had only been out with a few blokes who had all been (insert rude word)s.
I told her she'd missed the boat.
Good thing the girl I was with cheated on me so I got another crack at the whip.
The rest as they say is history.

Just made myself a hangover helper (often referred to as a Sausage & Egg McMuffin).
Chopped up some Germanic meatballs (pre-cooked) from Aldi, sliced open x2 breakfast muffins, lighted toasted & then chucked on the meat. Fried x2 eggs. Sprinkle of Cheddar cheese, squirt of tomato sauce.
Done.

Washed down with a mug of tea & a slice of tiffin!

I have just spent 3 hours on a train, then sat on a freezing cold platform for an hour waiting for my other train that was delayed.
I am now on delayed train but stood as there are no seats.
Only about 2 hours till I'm home :(
