Nic, I've a feeling we'll be belly sliding across the road to get onto the grass on the other side and clambering up that, then bellysliding back over to our driveway...lol!

OMG.....Can you imagine the hill at the front of the house in the snow. Not that many people will be able to come use it like they did at the old house as they won't get up or down the hill....but we'll be able to get out there and slide from the top right down to the house...lol

I know Lily. He has been working very very hard this week and is away tomorrow all day doing an induction for the 4X4 response group so that he can spend all winter going out in the landy getting nurses to work, helping ambulance and police get to people in need and rescuing flood victims or getting food and water to them and such like.

I am most proud of my man, he is the best of men :-)

My boss said he can't put our wages up to the minimum amount because he just can't afford it. He is struggling to get enough work to keep us all on. So that means I'm loosing well over a grand a year

Nope. There is a minimum that all sparkys are supposed to get. But we are still getting last years hourly rate.

I could get the union involved and make him put it up, but I'd be out of a job, and could potentially put others out of their jobs.
