Think I might go rip the scotoiler off my bike. It's feckin lethal in the rain. The oil on the wheel must run off when it gets wet and makes the rear tyre slippery as hell. Today I was accelerating up a dually, going round a right hand corner overtaking a van, and the rear wheel spun up, and slid out. Had a mini tank slapper. Pat my shants

Rain = less traction i could get my bike to wheel spin on my old BT021's and D208's and had a massive moment once on the D208's going round a corner in the wet, i doubt its any thing to do with your scoty.

How ever if you do rip it off

Erm, turn the scotoiler down then. I have had a SO on the sv for 8 years and i dont think i have ever had an issue with it getting on the sidewall of the tyre let alone the tread. Seriously, i reckon that its a) up to high b) the delivery stalk isnt against the sprocket enough. Plus going round a roundabout you would be on the right hand side of the tyre and if there is scotoil on that side, then you have no idea what your doing ;)

Ah well James. Always next time. Just why o why didnt you wear a suit. HOwever, i do think that this is such an outdated concept that yo uhave to be suited and booted ofr an interview. As long as you look a bit smart thats all that should matter. Its not like you are going to wear a suit on the job.

I have always wanted to go for a serious job interview dressed in a chicken suit and sit there like there is nothing worng at all.

It was on setting 3. I've put it to minimum now. The straw is hard against the sprocket.

When it spun out on the dually it was a gentle right hander I was on. And it's not like I was canning it. It was nearer half throttle if anything
