I love researching a company I have an interview with while at my current role lol. Also I'm in a ticky situation. Our current FD is leaving us the end of this month for a new FD role. The agency I am with has emailed me a job spec and details for a role at his new company. If I apply I run the risk of my boss's boss, finding out I'm looking for work and informing my boss, as they may talk to him when they see my CV due to the same current employer? likelyhood? If I don't apply I am putting all my eggs in one basket for this role I have my interview for! Roles in birmingham in Co Sec don't come up that often and I've got 2 at once and maybe one that I can't apply for?!

is the job with an agency? if so explain to agency and they can explain the sensitivity to the company??

lily - as T said speak to your agency. Ultimately I would apply for the job, check to see if it has been advertised internally as that might be one way to get around it, you can still apply for it but not give the game away that you are looking elsewhere.

To be honest though them knowing you are looking may work in your favour, they may step their game up and treat you better to try and keep you.

I need help getting the tw@entice sacked. i've been restoring a oak chasis of a cart, i stripped all the metal work back aswell a painted it black which i didn't have to, the customer has just come to collect it and the stupid idiot pleb was talking to him about it and said the metal work to attach the horses rope to was stainless steal as were the fat bolts........ all original on a 100 year old, that bloke must think we are a right bunch of idiots

V-man no I have put on a lot of weight being here, although I am now "normal" size because I havent been for so many years I now feel really rather heavy.

The zip had gone on my leathers a long time ago so I knew they needed replacing, the textiles though make me feel a bit fat now I cant fit into them. To be honest they are far too hot to wear over here anyway so really need to have a look at some breathable textile trousers.
